Perry picks El Pasoan for accountancy board
AUSTIN — El Pasoan John Dunbar, CPA, has been appointed to the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Gov. Rick Perry appointed six, including Dunbar, to the 15-member board. The Senate must also confirm the appointees, who will serve six-year terms.
Dunbar is a partner at Dunbar, Broaddus, Gibson LLP and also serves on the board of the El Paso Estate Planning Council. He graduated from Missouri University and received a master's degree from the University of Texas at El Paso.
